# Delete a style profile

Soft-delete a custom profile. Platform rows cannot be deleted (422). A personality still attached to an assistant returns 409 — detach it first. Requires `create_assistants`. A `kind=note` row returns 404 `FEATURE_NOT_ENABLED` when the `style_notes` beta feature switch is off. When the switch cannot be read right now, a note request returns 503 `STYLE_NOTES_SWITCH_UNRESOLVED` with a `Retry-After` header: retry, do not treat it as off.

## Path parameters

**`profile_id`** string required

Style profile id (`sty_` + 32 hex characters).

## Query parameters

**`organization_id`** string optional

Organization used for visibility. Resolved from the caller when omitted.
