# Versioning & Stability

As of October 14, the Freddy APIs by Aitronos have been formalized as our **official V1**. This is a major step forward in consistency, performance, and capabilities.

## Breaking changes notice

APIs used prior to October 14 may no longer be compatible with the new V1 endpoints. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you integrate with pre‑V1 endpoints, please plan a migration to V1.

## Stability guarantees (V1)

- No breaking changes to existing request/response contracts
- Additive, backwards‑compatible extensions only (new fields, resources, and headers)
- Deprecations follow a communicated timeline and include guidance


## Migration guidance

- Review the latest endpoints in this API Reference
- Test against staging where available
- Monitor rate limits and response headers during rollout
