# Get my Auto priority

Return your own Auto priority in an organisation: the preset you saved, whether you may choose one, the priority Auto uses for you now and which layer decides it, who locked it and why, and the assistants that always use something else. With `assistant_id`, it answers for that assistant's rules. See [Auto Model](/docs/documentation/core-concepts/auto-model).

## Authentication

Requires authentication (Bearer token or `x-api-key`) and membership of the organisation. Answers only for the caller. Requires the Auto model to be switched on for the organisation.

#### Query Parameters

**`organization_id`** string optional

The organisation (`org_`); default the current one (the `X-Organization-Id` header, or the token's organisation). With none, `422 ORGANIZATION_ID_REQUIRED`.

**`assistant_id`** string optional

Answer for this assistant of the organisation (`asst_`).

## Returns

Returns `200 OK` with:

**`choice`** string or null — The preset you saved (`balanced`, `faster`, `lower_cost`, `best_quality`); `null` when none.

**`can_choose`** boolean — `false` when a rule decides for you (for the asked assistant, or in general). Show the choice as read-only then.

**`effective_preset`** string — The priority Auto uses now; `custom` shows as "Custom".

**`set_by`** object — The layer that decides the effective priority: `layer`, `scope_id`, `name`.

**`locked_by`** object or null — The layer that locks your choice; `null` when you may choose.

**`locked_reason`** string or null — Why it is locked, as the rule's author wrote it.

**`assistant_locks`** array — Assistants that always use something else, sorted by name: `assistant` (`id`, `name`), `preset`, `locked_by` and `reason`. Empty when your choice is locked in general.
